Man United Trade and Prep While Awaiting Ruben Amorim
Manchester United have reportedly expressed interest in Bayern Munich player, Leroy Sane, as they look to strengthen their attack under new manager, Ruben Amorim.
With the January transfer window approaching, United has inquired about the 28-year-old winger’s availability, though sources claim that he may stick with Bayern until his contract expires in mid-2025.
United currently lack variety on the right wing, with only Antony as a natural option. Sane could provide the necessary pace and skill the club is looking for.
Meanwhile, Amorim – who begins his tenure next Monday, 11 November – has received a boost of support from goalkeeper, Andre Onana. The Cameroonian keeper has expressed confidence that the team will adapt to the incoming soccer boss’ playing system.
Additionally, defender Leny Yoro, who has been sidelined since August due to a foot injury he sustained during a friendly against Arsenal, has resumed full training and is aiming for his official debut soon.
Midfielders Christian Eriksen, Mason Mount and Antony also returned to practice, bolstering the squad ahead of their Europa League match against PAOK tonight, Thursday 7 November.
